Meet the Team

Kara Alvarez

VP, Product Management

Kara leads our product management team responsible for development of Yes Lifecycle Marketing's cross-channel marketing & analytics platform, Yesmail360i, and supporting services. She has over 20 years of product development experience with B2B and B2C products ranging from software to services to manufactured products. For the last twelve years, Kara has focused exclusively on the development of marketing technology software. She is driven to ensure our platform enables clients to make their data actionable. Kara interacts frequently with our teams and clients to truly understand their challenges and to ensure development addresses those needs and exceeds expectations..

David Ascensao

Technical Manager

David joined a precursor to Yes Lifecycle Marketing in August 1996 and has seen many changes in the intervening years. He moved from Technical Support to Email List Management, then to his current position as a Client Services Engineer. With over 10 years of experience in Email Marketing, he has seen it progress from an interesting way to engage customers to a must have engagement process for almost all businesses. This background gives David a wide perspective of the email engagement stream and provides him with insight that he uses daily to improve the service that Yes Lifecycle Marketing provides to our clients.

Blair Bauer

Director, Client Services

Blair has been in Account Management for ten years, working on acquiring and retaining consumers across direct and online channels in the retail, nonprofit, and publishing sectors. Blair is responsible for managing senior relationships with her client base, overseeing their e-commerce programs and identifying new opportunities to drive clients’ ROI. Prior to joining Yes Lifecycle Marketing in 2012, she was in the Account Management group at Paradysz, focusing on direct mail acquisition for nonprofits. Blair holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Villanova University.

Sumit Bhalla

VP, Client Management and Services

Sumit Bhalla brings over 15 years of integrated sales, marketing and CRM delivery experience to his current role as Vice President of Client Management and Services for Yes Lifecycle Marketing. Sumit leads a team that manages strategic Yes Lifecycle Marketing relationships across services, delivery and thought leadership. Previously, Sumit was Senior Director for Merkle's Insurance and Wealth Management vertical. Sumit led a team that managed relationships with clients such as AARP, Travelers Insurance, Aetna, Independence Blue Cross, 21st Century, Liberty Mutual, T.Rowe Price, Lincoln Financial and CUNA Mutual. Prior to Merkle, Sumit was Director of Marketing Systems for Liberty Mutual’s Personal Market. In this role, Sumit had responsibility for the strategic development of sales, marketing, and service technologies across the agency, call center, Internet, and third party channels. Sumit managed a staff comprised of project managers, business analyst, consultants and external vendors. Prior to Liberty Mutual, Sumit was a Principal Consultant in SAS Institute’s Customer Intelligence Practice. Previous to SAS, Sumit held consulting and management positions at Xchange and IBM Global Services serving across multiple industries. Sumit holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI)

Mitchell Bliss

Marketing Strategy Analyst

As Strategic Marketing Analyst, Mitchell Bliss works collaboratively across internal and external teams to generate analysis that inform Yes Lifecycle Marketing client strategy. He has 10 years of B2B/B2C digital marketing experience and possesses a background in CRM, marketing-automation platforms, and reporting. Mitch is passionate about leveraging data to drive progress within multi-channel marketing programs.

Lynne Bolen

Vice President, Strategy and Insights

Lynne brings over 20 years of experience in database / online marketing, marketing analytics and consulting to her role at Yes Lifecycle Marketing. Lynne helps clients identify and address critical trends, strengths and weaknesses in marketing programs and data. Her experience spans B2B and B2C environments and several industries including financial services, pharmaceutical, retail, healthcare, telecom and utility. Lynne’s unique ideas and approaches have been featured in BtoB Magazine and The Boston Business Journal. Prior to joining Yes Lifecycle Marketing Lynne was VP Wealth Management and Consulting at Merkle where she held key consulting roles and executed in discovery sessions, maturity assessments, gap analysis, priority assessments, and the development of implementation roadmaps. Prior to Merkle, Lynne held senior leadership positions at Fidelity, One-to-One Interactive and Digitas. Lynne brings a wealth of knowledge in research, analytics, measurement, and marketing strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from West Virginia University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina

Matthew Caldwell

Senior Vice President, Worldwide Creative Director

Matthew Caldwell is a 10-year veteran of email marketing design and is consumed with creating energetic layouts that look great and are impulsively clickable. An email designer since 1999, he is the founder of Yes Lifecycle Marketing's award-winning Creative Services group (clients include HP, Coca-Cola, Black & Decker, Calphalon). Matthew received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Indiana University and studied Art/Graphic Design at The Pacific Northwest College of Art and the Oregon College of Art & Craft. Matthew was formerly the Creative Director for ThrustMaster, Labtech, Logitech and @Once.

John Church

Senior Account Director

John brings more than twenty years of sales and marketing experience to his role as a Sales and Client Development Director. John joined Yes Lifecycle Marketing in December, 2011 after 6+ years at marketing software provider Alterian. Prior to Alterian, John worked for 7+ years at Experian, a global leader in providing information, analytical tools and marketing services, where he served in management roles in Account Management and Service Delivery. Before joining Experian, John worked for 9 + years at legal publisher Matthew Bender and Company, a Times Mirror Company, where he served and managed in a number of Sales and Technical Support, and local and Corporate Helpdesk roles finishing his tenure as Manager of the Times Mirror & Co. corporate helpdesk. Based in Albany, NY, John has a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Siena College, Loudonville, NY.

Sterling Crain

Senior Designer

Sterling Crain is a Senior Designer at Yes Lifecycle Marketing, where he elevates the Marriott Rewards program through impactful email design. In his spare time, he loves traveling, seeing live music and comedy shows, and playing guitar.

David Drake

Software Engineer

Being a software engineer is doing more than just building the next solution, it’s building the next awesome. We are the scholars of tomorrow; building, testing, constructing, and improving only to build it again, better, next time. I strive to create the best user experience possible by meticulously paying attention to every detail of a user interface look and feel, and the goal is not complete until one looks at the product and says, “Wow. That is awesome.”

Dan Duling

Senior Director, Innovation Strategy and Enablement

Dan came to us from sunny Florida where he earned his degree from Florida State University. During his time at Yes Lifecycle Marketing, Dan has played a key role in understanding and developing the solutions which meet our client’s requirements. He is continually reviewing client programs in order to formulate the right mix of solutions to improve and grow cross channel programs. Dan has always loved to learn how things work! He's a problem solver that understands the big-picture business goals that drive projects. Dan says, “A problem is only a tough decision waiting to be made… as it is impossible until it is not. We should attempt the impossible in order to improve our work.”

Elizabeth Fella

Senior Account Manager

As Senior Account Manager in Yes Lifecycle Marketing's NYC office, Liz is responsible for providing guidance and support to clients on the Yesmail360 platform along with developing solutions to customer-specific needs. Though dedicated service and analysis, Liz assists marketers in various industries with achieving their email marketing goals. Prior to her position at Yes Lifecycle Marketing, Liz worked in marketing in digital, print, and social in both B2B and B2C spaces. In her free time, Liz enjoys travelling around the world, any/all outdoor activities, and reading.

Bryan Finke

Vice President, Customer Experience & Communication Strategies

Bryan has 17 years of experience guiding brand marketing and digital strategy for a variety of industries and brands. His background includes nearly a decade with Nike where he was a key player in defining and leading Nike’s digital marketing strategy; directing the team and agencies responsible for industry leading and award winning experiences such as Nike iD and Nike+. Bryan has also led the marketing organization at consumer brands LaCrosse Footwear and the innovative sustainable apparel brand NAU. Beyond brand building and digital work, Bryan also has extensive experience optimizing retail business and customer engagement across media channels, direct stores, e-commerce and with wholesale partners. His consulting experience extends across B2B and B2C clients and has included multiple start-up ventures and work within the non-profit and social responsibility space.

Beth Frysztak

Vice President, Global Client Strategy

Beth Frysztak has over 25 years of experience working with Yes Lifecycle Marketing’s largest enterprise-level clients. She is a dynamic, strategic, integrated marketing consultant with expertise in all aspects of the marketing continuum. Beth has consulted with some of the largest financial institutions across the world, focusing on organic revenue growth, new customer acquisitions, cross selling, and topline results. For the last 15 years, Beth’s career has been concentrated on Global CRM and database strategies, supporting cross-channel multi-platform integrations that have driven the alignment of multiple business units and the integration of Sales, IT, Technology, Finance and Leadership across the organization. Our clients look to her as a key influencer and thought leader in Global Data Strategy, social media and digital marketing in both the B2B and B2C sectors. A collaborative and strategic thinker, she works closely with our clients to provide marketplace insight and strategic guidance to help them win against the competition.

Benjamin Galassi

Digital Product Specialist

As a Digital Product Specialist, I meet with prospective clients to understand their marketing goals, technology needs, and current provider limitations. I get to put myself in their shoes and offer a solution that meets and exceeds their expectations. I also get to walk them through a solution they’ve been looking for to take their cross-channel marketing programs to the next level. In my free time, I like to dominate in my 8 kickball leagues, 6 Fantasy Sport Leagues, and 3 Book Clubs.

Kevin Gallant

Manager, Intelligence Products

Kevin’s approach is to become deeply involved in clients needs and expectations. Kevin comes from a detail oriented background with 5 years experience in the digital and print marketing field. Now, a 3 year veteran at Yes Lifecycle Marketing with the Deliverability team Kevin's ability and passion for attention to detail and trending patterns has excelled him into the multiple platforms Yes Lifecycle Marketing supports. As the West Coast Intelligence Product Manager, Kevin provides a strong background in email-centric clients focusing on deliverability and competitive monitoring.

Marie Galo

Account Manager

Marie is the Account Manager for Lands' End, and manages all of the Lands' End accounts, including US, Japan, UK, and Europe. She is dedicated to making sure Lands' End is functioning smoothly across all platforms, and works diligently to implement new programs, processes, and data-driven strategies to ensure Lands' End is the best they can be. Marie is extremely competitive, and with her strong background in digital marketing, she'll be sure her clients are always winning. Based in Portland, OR, she loves hiking, cooking vegan, gluten free food, and perusing farmers markets for organically grown kale and tomatoes.

Ray Gill

Lead Database Architect

Ray has over 15 years of experience in the Database Administration and Architect Solutions Consultant role with some of largest enterprise companies. Having worked in such industries as Defense, Financial and Management Consulting, he brings a wealth of industry best practices knowledge. Being in Yes Lifecycle Marketing since 2013 as a Senior Database Administrator, Ray has showcased his leadership abilities on key projects and ensured its success. Ray moved on to ensuring the stability and reliability of all Yes Lifecycle Marketing Enterprise Systems. Having implemented best practices through ITIL he has helped the Technology Operations Group achieve a record setting 377 days with out any critical incidents. Today, Ray serves as our Lead Database Architect and serves as a key member on the DevOps team. Responsible for ensuring our technology landscape are utilizing cutting edge data technologies and progressing our business forward.

Maureen Gorman

Director, Client Services

Maureen has been in account management and email & digital marketing for over 8 years in the New York City area. She has worked closely with clients across multiple industries in both B2B and B2C to grow their digital marketing campaigns and identify new opportunities to increase revenue. Additionally, she manages and works closely with the account management teams to create efficiencies and lead strategic client planning to guarantee email best practices are being applied in across email marketing programs. Maureen received her B.S. degree from York College of Pennsylvania in Sport Management, with minors in Marketing and Business Administration.

Megan Gullickson

Solutions Manager

Megan Gullickson leads clients through the launch process, fosters new integrations and executes those developments as a Solutions Manager in the Chicago office. She has spent 7 years in the marketing industry with background in direct mail, user interface development and email from both the client and agency side. The knowledge gained through various marketing channels helps fuel the passion to always be thinking outside of current capabilities to big picture opportunities.
